2/ From 1 July 2018: Every ships have to be equipped with two two-way portable radiotelephone apparatus for each fire team (squad) for fire-fighter's communication. Those two-way portable radiotelephone apparatus shall be of an explosion-proof type or intrinsically safe.
Normally, each vessel, there are two fire squad. Therefore it should be available 4 such two-way portable radiotelephone on board.

1/ From 1 July 2019: Self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus (SCBA) of fire-fighter's outfits shall comply with paragraph 2.1.2 of chapter 3 of the Fire Safety Systems Code.
